What do you normally do after taking a photo, but before posting it on social media? Yep, editing. At least, you'll slap some filters on it. It's always nice that the aura of a photo can be created or changed with the flick of a moody filter (presets which feature a Polaroid style, black and white, analogue… you know what I mean). But what if you could see things in a vintage sepia, or an 80s vibe, all the time?

FOR ART'S SAKE LOGO BRANDING IN LONDON DESIGN GRAPHIC DESIGN

We have something to share with you guys today: We're launching a new interactive project with For Art's Sake called #FASandtheCity! This project was born unexpectedly during a little chat within the FAS team. We wondered what this world would look like through your For Art's Sake lenses (you can always expect something-never-seen-before in our lenses' colours, trust me). So we decided to present this idea and discover what this world in For Art's Sake lenses looks like from your unique perspective. Actually, we initially wanted to name this project "Through the lens". But just visualising you all wearing FAS sunnies and walking down the streets of your city, confidently, as the best version of yourself, immediately reminded us those four fiercely independent ladies who live in NYC. Yes, we're talking about Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda from Sex and the City. They always conducted their lives in their own way - not perfect, but always true to themselves. So yeah, #FASandtheCity, why not?

#FASANDTHECITY THE LONDON EYE THROUGH FOR ART'S SAKE DESIGNER SUNGLASSES M8 AMBER STYLE

We guess that you already know that the FAS team is based in London, so we took the first step for #FASandthecity. Here, you can see the London Eye in Wes Anderson's style with our M8 sunglasses in Amber.

#FASANDTHECITY THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT IN LONDON THROUGH FOR ART'S SAKE DESIGNER SUNGLASSES VERMEER BLUSH STYLE

And here's one at the Houses of Parliament, from the angle that the painter Monet used to paint his London Sunset series, with our Vermeer in Blush.

So what are you still waiting for? Get out there and explore your city. Take pictures. You don't need any filters or editing apps, just a pair of FOR ART'S SAKE sunglasses.

Go on, surprise us! And don't forget to tag #FASandtheCity so we can see!

Love,

Sixian, on behalf of the FOR ART'S SAKE team. x
