TREND ALERT: CHAMPAGNE

Every year, we have new-found appreciation for the month of October. From the crispness in the Autumn air to the changing colour palette that comes with a new season and of course, mulled wine, there's so many new things to appreciate.
Colours always darken at this time of year, but there was one hue that's stood out from the crowd at fashion week. We like to call this buttery shade of brown champagne.
It was all over the runways and (luckily for you) all over our collection.
Here are three reasons why we're loving this trend for Autumn. Pick your favourite pairs below!

It's Beyonce-approved

We won't say you heard it here first, but Beyonce might just have ushered in a renewed love for this earthy tone at the end of summer when she was pictured wearing our Generation sunglasses in Champagne.

It matches our mood

With Winter approaching, we're taking a slower approach to life whether that means settling in to early evenings on the couch or long and lazy Sunday brunches followed by walks in the park. As a colour, brown symbolises, wholesomeness, reliability, elegance, healing, warmth and stability. Basically everything we want from the colder months (and our sunglasses collection, of course).

It's the perfect transitional shade

With bright days becoming few and far between, brown lenses are perfect for weathering the transition from warmish to 'where are my thermals?'. The tint still provides 100% UV protection but is light enough to be worn on both bland and blue days. Incidentally, it's also perfect for city breaks to slightly warmer locations, a win-win if you ask us!
