Trend: Hello Yellow!
Thanks to Aimee Song in our Margarita Ambers, we've fallen even more in love with the colour of the season – Gen Z Yellow. Man Repeller were the first to coin this term and since then we've been seeing this vibrant colour splashed all over Instagram. It's bright, spontaneous and will take just about any outfit from good to "where did you buy your sunglasses?". Put the Millenial Pink on pause and take your new favourite shade for a test drive.
Get the look: There's only one way we want to wear this trend: head-to-toe yellow a la Aimee for the win.
Trend: Round, round baby
Round sunglasses suit most face shapes and looks whether you're suiting up, wedding-bound or heading off on holiday. Originally a favourite in the 60s, the silhouette has experienced various periods of popularity over the last few decades, and our Smoky sunglasses sales have been surging recently – the subtly scalloped frames add a touch of drama to this simple shape, making them ideal for summer.
Get the look: We'll be putting a new spin on this whimsical trend with structured blazers and leather jackets. You heard it here first!
Trend: Cat-Eye Cool
It's no secret that we love a pair of oversized sunglasses, and if our bestseller numbers are anything to go by, the exaggerated cat eye is about to be the next big thing. But you don't have to take our word for it – celebrities from Lupita Nyong'o to Cat Blanchett have been loving this silhouette too.
Get the look: Take a 70-inspired approach to your summer look with flowing maxi dresses, bright colours and exaggerated sleeves.
Trend: Aviator Fever
In a throwback to Top Gun style, aviator sunglasses just made a serious comeback on the runway and are sticking around for the summer. Depending on your face shape and preferences, you can go for one of our more angular, architectural styles, or for a more circular pair like our Getaways, recently seen on former Miss World and model, Zhang Zilin.
Get the look: Strike a balance between feminine and masculine – pair your motorcycle-ready sunglasses with lace dresses, embellished blouses, and dare we say it – florals.
